Retina Associates of South Texas, PA, is a leading ophthalmology practice in the greater San Antonio and Laredo areas. We specialize in the medical and surgical care of the retina, macula, and vitreous. Conditions commonly evaluated and treated by our physicians include age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, retinopathy of prematurity, ocular tumors, uveitis and other inflammatory ocular disorders.

Our philosophy is to put our patients first, as well as to provide leading edge therapies for patients with retinal disease. The physicians of Retina Associates seek to educate patients and their families about eye and vision-related medical conditions, and to provide access to other eye care specialists and vision rehabilitation services. We also are committed to clinical research and to the development of new therapeutic and diagnostic capabilities.

We take pride in our ability to provide excellent service to our patients as well as their referring physicians. Each physician at Retina Associates of South Texas has completed a residency in ophthalmology, a fellowship in vitreo-retinal surgery, and is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Our front office and clinical staffs are highly experienced in working with patients with retinal conditions.
